North Korea

Like everyone else, I was shocked to see the lives of North Koreans. I think the thing that bothered me the most about that video was how much the people of North Korea praised Kim Jong Il. The country has brainwashed it's people so much that they do not realize what horrible conditions they are living under. The first thing that the blind people did was look at Kim Jong Il's picture and thank him, not the doctor, for their sight. Also, It bothered me how the people couldn't even comprehend the question when the woman asked if Kim Jong Il could do anything wrong. It is also very appaling to learn that North Korea is compleatly seperated from the rest of the world. The people there are not allowed to have cell phones, internet access, and all the news is monitered so the people are completly oblivious to what is going on in the world. It is scarry to think that all of this is going on right now in another part of the world.
