North Korea

I am shocked to discover the lives of the North Korean people. The people of North Korea are very deprived and shunned from the world. They are merely worshipers to their Great Leader and don't realize anything going on unless it is North Korea. They thank their Great Leader for everything from being able to live in their great country to getting back their sight from the doctor. I just find it hard to believe that they would only thank their leader for getting their sight back when in actuality he physically did not help them in any means. He was the one reason that his people had received cataracts, and therefore made his people blind in the first place. Therefore I think that it is a cultural universal to thank someone when they do something for you. But I guess if you live in North Korea your not one to abide by these types of cultural universals. All in all, the fact that the people of North Korea were blinded by their Great Leader and yet continually praise him for their sight back just shows that they are very grateful for their leader wether he is a dictator or not.
