Smoking Ban

The smoking ban is definitely better for me, because I am not an avid smoker. But I know from other people that it can be very annoying, especially in bars, not to be able to smoke anymore. The atmosphere and the mood are right for them to light up, and now they have to go stand and freeze outside. It's almost kind of mean to have smoking legal in public places for a long time so people pick up the habit, and then in one day, ban it from bars and restaurants to shun smokers.
I can definitely see how difficult this smoking ban can be on people who perhaps want to quit now because of the inconvenience of smoking but cannot.

Otherwise, I don't really care about the smoking ban. I do not smoke so this ban doesn't affect me. I don't care for the smell of cigarettes or second hand smoke, but I am trying to look at the other side here and how difficult this ban might be or how in some places, smoking should be allowed because of the overall atmosphere.
