The smoking ban is appropriate IMO. Nobody wants to walk through an entrance into a cloud of smoke. Smoking has killed an unthinkable amount of people -- any law that prohibits smoking in any way is more helpful than harmful.
As for dating girls who are addicted to smoking--it's a no-brainer for me, NO way. It would almost be depressing dating somebody who smoked knowing that they were lessening their health everyday. There's NO cover up for smokey-smelling girls. Some girls think they can put on a ton of perfume and hide the smell of smoke, but this only makes them smell like smokey-perfume which smells even worse than just plain smoke. I'm with Lauren on this one, it's one of the biggest turn-offs for a date.
