I dont Love mary fons

Okay- so we all love writer's week. no surprise there. but I will tell you one presenter that I no longer love with as much enthusiasm as in previous years: Mary Fons. Why you ask?

First of all, her poetry, in my opinion, is mediocre. I often cannot relate or sympathize with the point of view in her pieces. Because even though specificity is great, she often does not allow her poems to have any breathing room to expand into other people's minds. Also, there is hardly any literary merit to her poetry- they are not open for interpretation.
Also, Mrs. Enk can back me up on this. She is not as good when she is in love. When she is all heartbroken and such, she adds so much vitality and heart into her work, but now, she sort of just reads her pieces gleefully and annoyingly in some cases.

She also did not bring any new material. I bought that same booklet of poems two years ago, and probably could have performed those pieces almost as well as she could have. I love her, most of the time, but this year she was disapointing and lacking.
