writers week

Writers week is an awesome way for us to broaden our literacy, imagination & mind. One writer especially caught my attention, Reggage... something, the way he read his poems with such passion really sent a shiver down my spine. Another writer wrote pretty sad poems, but they really opened my eyes to how others have it much worse then me, and that even though listneing to these things may be disturbing, we should look at reailty and understand people really do need our help. Each speaker had something to bring to us, and teach us. I think other schools should think about doing a simliar event if not the same. It also may help reduce stress from our mechanic way of life in school by bringing something new.
